Artist's Comments

Both the sky and water are dark, like an impending sense of doom.

Critiques

:icondrewyboy:
I quite like this one, the colours are fantastic and the composition works well enough to please me. The way the water reflects the tree and scene is lovely.

The yellow in the sky looks rather fake though, I am guessing it was blown out and you've added some yellow with selective colour in Photoshop, or you've give the image a yellow photo filter. In a way it creates an nice atmosphere but I'd rather try sunlight to do that effect. Another thing I notice is the tree's look a little too highlighted and they don't look that sharp, maybe you could sharpen them a little...

Drew.

I love the comp, I love the saturation, this photo is GREAT, except for one little thing. It's not sharp. I'm guessing you didn't use a tripod, or had a very cheap one. Might be a sound investment! Best of luck, keep up the great work!
